PS4 release date: Console to launch in 32 countries this November

The PlayStation 4 will launch on 15th November in North America and 29th November in Europe. The console will be available in 32 countries at launch.

India falls under the Europe territory for Sony, and it’s highly likely that India will be one of the 32 countries.

PlayStation India country manager Atindriya Bose had confirmed that the PS4 will launch in India in 2013. He had also said that the Indian price for the PS4 would be decided around Gamescom.

It will be matched with the European launch; give or take a bit to account for Indian logistics. The consoles have to be shipped in advance and currently all consoles also require certification for the India market. In terms of targeting, we’re looking to synchronise with the European launch,” Bose had told IVG, adding, That’s this year.”
