Release date for Crysis on consoles

With EA clearly in the mood for release dates, it has chosen to announce another – the console version of Crysis will be released on October 4th.

It will be a digital download and will be available on both Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network. It will be priced at 1,600 Microsoft Points and 15.99 respectively.

Crysis is still regarded as one of the greatest PC shooters ever made and continues to be the benchmark for high-end PC gaming visual. The console versions will understandably be parred down, but thanks to the fabulous CryEngine 3 still look divine.

The game has had a number of tweaks too, most notable of which is the inclusion of the modified control set-up that debuted with Crysis 2.
