RETAIL BIZ: Vancouver sales soar

Sega’s Vancouver 2010: The Official Video Game has returned to the Top 10 of the Xbox 360 and PS3 charts as interest grows in the current Winter Olympics.

The game saw a 274 per cent rise in sales during the week ending February 20th, 2010, driven primarily by the console versions.

The game leaps 20 places to eighth place in the Xbox 360 charts, while the PS3 edition rose from No.18 to fifth place.

Vancouver 2010 re-entered the ELSPA GfK-ChartTrack All Formats Charts at No.11 this week, narrowly missing out on a space in the Top 10.
