Six Days in Fallujah resurfaces

Having presumably been left for dead after publisher Konami cut its ties to the title in April last year, it has emerged that Iraq War themed shooter Six Days in Fallujah is still potentially heading for a retail release.

The assertion comes from developer Atomic Games, which told IGN that I can promise you that game is still coming out and it is finished”.

The game shot to notoriety upon its announcement last April but immediately found critics thanks to a perceived insensitivity toward the servicemen and women still serving in the conflict.

Much to the disappointment of the developer, however, Konami dropped plans to publish the title following a rudimentary media outcry concerning its setting and themes.

Since then the studio has suffered job losses, with reports suggesting that anything up to 80 per cent of the workforce was laid off.
