Sony reveals Lego The Hobbit PS3 bundle for North America

A new PlayStation 3 bundle featuring Lego The Hobbit is heading stateside this spring, Sony has announced.

Detailed on the US PlayStation Blog, the bundle will pack a 500 GB PS3 and a copy of the upcoming Lego title covering Peter Jackson’s first two films in The Hobbit trilogy for $269.

The lowest a 500 GB PS3 package currently runs for is $299 – such as the bundles with God of War, Grand Theft Auto V, and The Last of Us.

Though no release window beyond the impending spring season was mentioned, it’s worth nothing that Lego The Hobbit itself is set to launch April 8th on 3DS, PS Vita, PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Wii U.
