Steam gives away GTA Vice City

Ahead of the release of the PC version of Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto IV on December 2nd, Valve has announced that those who pre-order the game via its online digital distribution network Steam will receive a downloadable copy of GTA: Vice City for free.

Gamers will be able to access the $9.99 title immediately once they’ve placed their order.

GTA Vice City was first released on PS2 in 2002 and is regarded by many to be the finest instalment in the GTA III series. Set in the 1980s, the game was tremendously atmospheric, and introduced several new gameplay elements to the series for the first time including property ownership.
