The next game from Stanley Parable dev is out tomorrow

Surprise! There’s another game on the way from one of the creators of The Stanley Parable. And it’s arriving very, very shortly.

It’s called The Beginner’s Guide and is the first solo project from Davey Wreden. What is it and how will it play? We don’t know for the moment, although it is described as a narrative video game” It is also believed to be first person.

Most excitingly, The Beginner’s Guide is being released tomorrow (October 1st).

Releasing a follow up to The Stanley Parable is no easy task. Released in 2013, the game won multiple awards thanks t its fascinatingly subversive approach to the games genre. It also shifted over 1m copies.

Presumably the game will be available on Steam, although we will have to wait until tomorrow to find out.
