The Walking Dead retail release arrives next week

The first full season of Telltale’s The Walking Dead is set to land at retail in North America next week for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

Originally targeted for the shelves today, the retail launch ended up slipping back a week to December 11th.

The bundle has been priced at $29.99, and packs all five episodes of the adventure series initial season.

There’s also a limited collector’s edition being sold exclusively through Gamestop for $69.99. Along with the episodes it includes an exclusive edition of The Walking Dead Compendium One. Best Buy stores will offer a limited edition cover variant for all platforms, along with an exclusive poster insert as well.

Telltale adds that Best Buy is the only place the game can be purchased on disc for PC.

The studio promises further retail announcements soon for territories outside North America.
