UK to get Killzone 2 PS3 bundle

SCEE has announced that it is to bundle it’s excitedly anticipated FPS Killzone 2 with the PS3 in the UK upon the game’s release at the end of February.

Priced at 299.99, the package will include an 80GB PS3 console, one DualShock 3 controller and a copy of the gritty FPS title, according to VG247.

Despite receiving a release date of February 27th in North America, Killzone 2 has yet to be officially dated for release in the UK and Europe, though SCEE has said we can expect a release date very similar to our North American cousins.

Killzone 2 is the sequel to Guerrilla’s 2004 PS2-exclusive debut title Killzone. Despite the critical mauling suffered by the original, the reception to the upcoming sequel has been almost universally positive.

Guerrilla’s other titles include PSP outing Killzone: Liberation and last-gen third person shooter Shellshock: ‘Nam 67.
