Rez Infinite will boast 4K visuals on PS4 Pro

The developer of the PS4-bound Rez remake has said the game will get a big VR performance boost when hooked up to a PS4 Pro.

Rez Infinite launches alongside the PSVR headset next month. And while it will be perfectly compatible with current PS4s, Polygon reports that when hooked up to the new PS4 model due out in November the game will output 4K graphics at 60 frames per second when playing the areas featured in the original release.

The same rules don’t seem to apply to the new Area X, although other non-specific benefits have been touted for this level, too.

Not planned, however, is support for HDR, which features at launch on PS4 Pro and has recently been patched into all existing PS4 models.
