Rising Star plots more DS success

Rising Star Games will fight to maintain its strong position in the DS casual market with Jewel Legends.

The match-three puzzler follows on from the Jewel Master titles previously released on DS, such as Cradle of Rome. Rising Star has sold 200,000 units of the Jewel Master series.

The incredible commercial success of Cradle of Rome, especially against the competition in this genre, has established the Jewel Master brand as a titan in the casual DS market,” Rising Star MD Martin Defries told MCV.

Jewel Legends: Tree of Life is the perfect product to move the series forward.”

Rising Star will promote the game with a trade marketing campaign and online advertising. The DS game arrives on June 24th.
