Rockstar denies Grand Theft Auto V delay

Grand Theft Auto V will still be released for PS4, Xbox One and PC this autumn, Rockstar has said.

Rumours that the game has been pushed back to 2015 were doing the rounds last week.

There’s not been an official statement or press release on the subject, but Videogamer reports that a Rockstar support worker has responded to a forum enquiry by saying of the autumn date that this release date has not changed”.

The autumn release was also reiterated by Non Stop Pop FM host Cara Delevingne who has been back at Rockstar updating” her radio station.

Whether ‘autumn’ classes as running until the end of September (what the industry traditionally sees as the autumn third quarter) or the of October (when it normally starts getting really, really cold) is also up for debate.
