Heavenly Sword and Hellblade studio handling combat, villains and Princess Jasmine

Ninja Theory working on Disney Infinity 2.0

UK studio Ninja Theory has been revealed as yet another studio contributing to Disney’s best-selling toy-and-game title Disney Infinity.

The Cambridge-based dev, best known for its own IP Heavenly Sword, is one of several studios working on sequel Disney Infinity 2.0, which introduces Marvel properties to the series.

Executive producer John Vignocchi at Disney Interactive Studios says Ninja Theory has been working on the game since February and was brought in to help refine the combat system, according to Polygon.

The team has also helped create the Infinity versions of Marvel villains Loki, Green Goblin and Ronan the Accuser, as well as Aladdin’s Princess Jasmine.

Last month, Ninja Theory announced new IP Hellblade during Sony’s press conference at Gamescom.

Other studios working on Disney Infinity include Avalanche Software and Brighton-based Studio Gobo.
