RUSE will be released in the UK on June 4th for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, Ubisoft has announced.
The publisher claims the war simulation will be a one-of-a-kind real-time strategy game that allows players to bluff their enemies to lead their nation to victory”.
Gamers will be able to choose one of six factions and battle across a range of multiplayer maps, as well as a single-player campaign. Factions include the UK, America, Germany, Russia, France and Italy.
Developer Eugen Systems has devised the Iris Zoom game engine, which offers an interface that can transition from a birds-eye view of the conflict to close-ups of battles.
With RUSE, Ubisoft is once again shaking up a genre, offering an RTS with a twist that will thrill gamers,” said John Parkes, EMEA marketing director at Ubisoft.
Yesterday the public beta test for the game went live on Steam.
