SimBin Studios re-forms two years after bankruptcy

Racing game specialist SimBin Studios is back in business just over two years after filing for bankruptcy, and looking to get back on the track.

SimBin studios are well known in the racing world, producing franchises like GTR and Race. They’ll now be calling the North West of England home instead of their native Sweden, and will be headed up by former Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe producer Allan Speed.

The original SimBin team rebranded as Sector 3 Studios back in 2014, and have helped SimBin re-establish itself. SimBin’s focus moving forwards will be to create cross-platform racing titles. With the VR revolution in full swing, there’s probably a lot of space for racing simulations that take advantage of that, but they haven’t announced anything just yet.
