After vehemently insisting for months that an offline mode for SimCity was impossible, EA is set to introduce just that.
The always-online city-building game was plagued with server issues for weeks after launch, prompting EA tooffer a free gamein a bid to appease outraged gamers.However, developer Maxis had insisted that the game was developed for an always-online environment.
Along with the offline mode, the future update will also enable user mods in the game.
