Sonic rings mobile success

Since its release in 2006, it has emerged that the mobile phone version of Sega’s Sonic the Hedgehog has sold a massive 8 million copies in the US and Europe.

Yesterday it was reported that the recently released Guitar Hero III Mobile has already neared the one million sales mark – another triumph for console IP on mobile phones.
