SONY: Mad Max game coming to PlayStation 4

In what nearly looked like a Fallout 4 reveal, Sony announced PS4 will be getting a game based on the franchise that defined the post-apocalyptic genre: Mad Max.

The game is being published by Warner Bros and developed by Avalance Studios, the creators of Just Cause – so expect an open world wasteland for gamers to explore.

Like many third party games, there will be exclusive content for PlayStation owners: in this case, a Road Warriors Survival Kit, which sounds like extra items/weapons/vehicles to us.

Mad Max is due for release in 2014.

UPDATE: Warner has since announced Mad Max will also be coming to Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
