SONY: Move sales hit 8.8m

With Microsoft making lots of noise about Xbox 360 Kinect in its press briefing, Sony has also highlighted its own motion gaming success.

To date the Move controller has sold 8.8m units around the world.

It will also feature as part of a new Resistance 3 bundle. The SHKU includes the game, a Move controller, an additional Nav Controller, the PlayStation Eye and the Sharpshooter gun controller. It will retail for $150 in the US.

Several other impressive Move projects were also named, with particle credit given to the impressive NBA 2K11 demo.
