SONY: New IP The Order 1866 announced for PlayStation 4

Ready At Dawn and Sony’s Santa Monica studio are working on a brand new franchise for PS4.

Entitled The Order 1866, it takes place in an alternative England, where characters dress like medieval knights, wield Steampunk guns and pilot airships.

No gameplay was shown but the in-game cutscene shown implies that players will spend a lot of time fighting zombies and monsters.

The Order 1866 was introduced by Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida, who championed Ready At Dawn’s prowess as a PSP developer. This will be the studio’s first outing on PS4.
