Sony has just announced that a new chapter in the Resident Evil franchise will be coming to PSP.
No other details about the Capcom-developed game was revealed, other than it will hit the machine in 2010.
Sony SCEA CEO and president Jack Tretton said: We’re pleased to announce Resident Evil is coming to PSP in a whole new game designed specifically for the platform.”
The new Resident Evil follows the hugely successful release of Resident Evil 5 on PS3 and Xbox 360, and will be released after the Wii-exclusive on-rails shooter, Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles.
