Square Enix teams up with Bulletstorm dev People Can Fly for new, original triple-A title

Square Enix has teamed up with the Warsaw-based Bulletstorm studio People Can Fly in a new external development partnership, the publisher has announced. The partnership will see both companies working together to develop a new and original triple-A title for PC and consoles.

In order to carry out this new project, People Can Fly is also looking to expand its team, specifically in its art and gameplay and AI programming departments. It’s not yet clear how much work has been completed on the title yet, but Square Enix has confirmed that the game will not be appearing as part of its E3 2017 line-up, so we’ll have to wait a little longer before we hear more details.

We’re massively excited to be working with the talented team at PCF in Warsaw, a studio filled with people who really know their craft,” said Lee Singleton, head of studio at Square Enix London Studios. We’re building a game we all want to play which will be the perfect addition to our portfolio.”

People Can Fly’s studio headSebastian Wojciechowski added:It’s an exciting time. We’ve got a great and experienced team in place, and it’s incredible to be working with Square Enix, a world-class publisher who shares our passion and excitement for the project.”
