PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds competition to be held at DreamHack Summer

DreamHack has announced that it has teamed up with BlueHole, the developers of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, to run competitive matches at DreamHack Summer.

Anyone who takes their PC along to the massive LAN party will be able to play the game for free during the weekend. Everyday the BlueHole team will start up 10 100 player matches on the hour. On day one these will be for duos, and on the other days they will be for full four player squads.

At the end of each day, the 100 players that have the best scores from these matches will be invited to take part in the daily final. The best teams in this match will be awarded as yet unannounced prizes.

The daily finals will be broadcast live online and to 1100 spectators in the BATTLEGROUNDS Arena at DreamHack.
