Steinburg’s gaming guide for modern parents released

Parents seeking an informative resource on how to better understand the games and tech kids are investing their time into now have a free option in Scott Steinburg’s ‘The Modern Parent’s Guide to Kids and Video Games.’

The book is available to download now at no cost via www.videogamesandkids.com.

The guide offers advice and info regarding PC, console, online, free, social, and mobile games; with a section on how to use game ratings, addressing common health concerns related to gaming, fostering healthy habits, best games for different ages groups, and more. Along with the free download, readers can also purchase paperback, iBooks, Kindle and Nook editions.

The title is the first in a series of free ‘Modern Parent’s Guide’ books. Other editions will be released this year and the next such as The Modern Parent’s Guide to Internet, Web and Online Safety (due in July 2012); Facebook and Social Networks (due in December 2012); Smartphones and Apps (due in 2013); and Digital Music, Movies and Entertainment (due in 2013).
