Suda 51’s Let It Die is still alive

Nearly two years on from the last we heard of it, Grasshopper Manufacture has confirmed that PS4 exclusive Let It Die is still in development.

The free-to-play title, which will be funded by microtransactions, is on track for a release in 2016. Players will compete against AI opponents whose behaviour is fashioned on that of other players. Upon death players’ characters become the enemy in other users’ games.

Let It Die remains a crazy survival action game,” the video below explains. The world we are creating will push the envelope for asynchronous, free-to-play games. The trademark Grasshopper visual and narrative flair remains a signature for the title.”

The game will be playable at US event PAX East next week.
