Super Smash Bros Brawl delay

Whilst European Wii owners are still waiting to hear when Nintendo’s highly anticipated multiplayer thump-a-thon will arrive on these fair shores, US owners are facing a further delay.

Having originally been lined up for an early February release, US gamers can now expect the game to be released on March 9th. Japanese gamers have less time to wait, however, with the game now scheduled for a February 10th release in Japan.

And in an extra dose of punishment for those who simply can’t wait to get their hands on Nintendo’s latest, Japanese gaming bible Famitsu gave the game 40/40 in a recent review – in doing so it becomes only the seventh ever title to receive the accolade, following the lead of The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, Soul Calibur, Vagrant Story, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Nintendogs and Final Fantasy XI.
