Tekken X Street Fighter possibly going next-gen

We’ve had Street Fighter X Tekken, but where’s the other game that was announced as part of the deal between Namco Bandai and Capcom?

Tekken X Street Fighter has been conspicuous in its absence this year, and now perhaps we have an idea why.

"We are changing and considering platform strategy,” producer Katsuhiro Harada told a fan on Twitter. That’s why we don’t say anything."

The most obvious conclusion is that the game is now in development for PS4 and Durango, although of course that may not necessarily be correct. Could Namco/Capcom move the game away from consoles and onto smartphones? Might it be a test bed for a freemium payment model?
