Telltale, Gearbox team up for Tales from the Borderlands crossover project

Episodic adventure game maker Telltale Games is currently developing an upcoming crossover project with Gearbox Software involving the latter’s Borderlands franchise.

Tales from the Borderlands will hit as an episodic release beginning sometime next year, with the game set to center around both established and newly created characters from the universe of Gearbox’s popular series.

Telltale will fully assume the development duties, while Gearbox will be providing the assets.

No platforms have been confirmed as of yet, but Telltale’s past efforts suggest that a release on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles is more than likely.
