Temple Run: Oz The Great And Powerful lands this month

Imangi will once again partner with Disney to bring a standalone Temple Run title to mobile devices, this time tying in with the corporation’s upcoming film Oz: The Great And Powerful.

Disney France PR rep Cecile Fouques took to twitter to announce a February 27th release date. The tweet was since deleted, but not before Superannuation nabbed and passed on the info. The reporter backed up the leak by pointing to a mention of the upcoming licensed title on a tester’s Facebook page.

Imangi previously launched Temple Run: Brave alongside Disney’s 2012 film, with the licensed title contributing significantly to the popular free-to-play franchise’s total download count.

Temple Run 2 debuted just last month, and within a matter of weeks claimed the title of fastest growing mobile game with over 50m downloads between iOS and Android.
