The Beatles head to Rock Band

Following a number of rumours overnight, it has been confirmed that EA and Apple Corp have penned a deal that will see music from The Beatles appear in Rock Band.

The official announcement is expected at 2:00pm today, and is likely to take the form of paid-for downloadable content.

The news comes after yesterday’s confirmation of a November 21st release date for Rock Band 2 in the UK. Like the first game, the new title will remain an Xbox 360 exclusive in Europe for an unspecified amount of time.
