The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth hits Xbox One, Wii U and New 3DS this month

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth will arrive on Xbox One, Wii U and New 3DS later this month, developer Edmund McMillen has announced.

The editions will hit on July 23rd, making good on McMillen’s statement in April that the revamped re-release was coming soon” to Microsoft and Nintendo platforms.

McMillen notes the release will not include the game’s upcoming Afterbirth DLC, since it isn’t finished yet, but indicates the content will eventually make its way out across all platforms. It’s also worth noting that the 3DS version will only work with New 3DS handhelds.

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is currently available on PS4, PS Vita, PC, Mac and Linux. Rebirth’s predecessor – simply, The Binding of Isaac – broke the 2m sales mark back in 2013.
