The Last of Us sells 6m units

Naughty Dog’s PS3-exclusive The Last of Us has surpassed 6m copies sold, Sony has announced.

The game sold 3.4m units in just its first three weeks of availability, and has added another 2.6m sales in the seven months since.

The announcement came as part of a post on Naughty Dog’s website, which also reveals a list of talks the studio will be involved in this week at GDC 2014.

The developer will discuss techniques and processes used to make The Last of Us, as well as what made the game’s Left Behind content unique from other DLC offerings.
