The Walking Dead heading to retail this March

Although sadly it isn’t the acclaimed Telltale Games’ point-and-click adventure.

Instead it is first-person shooter The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct, the TV series adaptation from Activision.

The publisher has announced the game will be available on March 29th in the UK and Europe, according to Eurogamer.

In addition to Xbox 360 and PS3 SKUs, Survival Instinct will also be released on the Wii U, using the GamePad to represent survivor’s backpack inventory.

Oddly, there’s no word on the PC SKU that was previously announced.

The first gameplay footage was released last week. Survival Instinct also features talent from The Walking Dead TV series it is based on.
