Thieves hijack lorry full of Nintendo stock

The Northamptonshire police department revealed earlier today that a stock of Nintendo games was stolen last week.

The report however doesn’t state which titles have been taken.

On the night between April 13thand April 14th, a lorry containing the precious games was hijacked as it was parked at the A14’s Thrapston services.

The offender(s) cut the side curtain of the lorry, while the driver was asleep, and stole the games,” the police reports says.

Unfortunately for Nintendo, it’s not the first this has happened. Last year, a whole Splatoon stock was stolen from the platform’s holder while it was being dispatched to GAME.

Nintendo’s Star Fox Zero is hitting retail today while Yo-kai Watch will attempt to conquer European markets next week on 3DS.
