Three Duke Nukem games this year

The protracted saga of both Duke Nukem and developer 3D Realms is arguably more far-fetched than any of the adventures depicted in the Duke’s games, but the potty-mouthed hero is to make an appearance in 2009 – on iPhone.

With the seemingly secure 3D Realms having released an iPhone version of console shooter Prey on iPhone earlier this week, the studio’s Scott Miller told Shacknews that:

We have several more iPhone games on the way, including three unannounced Duke Nukem games.”

Lest we forget, too, that Duke Nukem Trilogy is still planned for release on both DS and PSP. Talk had pointed to a 2009 release but, well, do we really need to elaborate?
