Titanfall Expedition DLC lands in May

Titanfall will receive its first DLC offering next month, developer Respawn has announced.

Dubbed Expedition, the new content will add three new maps and additional story that will take place following the multiplayer campaign.

The "Swampland" map will be set among the ruins of "archaic alien technology" and includes trees for wall running. "Runoff" is another new level featuring water, and the third map "War Games" is based in the game’s training simulator.

The DLC by itself will be priced at $10, or can be bought as part of the game’s Season Pass for $25.

Along with the premium content, Respawn also detailed a few free micro-updates on the way as well. Titanfall will soon boast a 2v2 variant of Last Titan Standing mode, as well as several other new features including Titan-themed burn cards, insignias, a new matchmaking system, and rifts – a mechanic that will introduce various tweaks to the game’s current modes.

Titanfall is currently available on PC, Xbox One, and just released on Xbox 360 last week.
