Ubisoft appoints licensing group

Ubisoft has appointed Copyright Promotions Licensing Group (CPLG) as its European licensing agent for its Rabbids, Imagine and Just Dance brands.

The firm will look after existing licensing programmes and seek new markets in which to take the brands. These include launching Just Dance-branded clothes and fitness accessories.

Ubisoft is known for creating some of the most rich entertainment properties in the video game industry,” said Ubisoft’s EMEA director Alain Corre.

It was imperative for us to find a top-notch partner who could bring dynamism and quality to a pan-European merchandising program and we are satisfied that we’ve found that partner in CPLG.”

Working with Ubisoft on these incredibly successful and entertaining brands brings a new dimension to our portfolio,” says Steve Manners, EVP and Director of Entertainment at CPLG.

Ubisoft are an incredibly innovative and supportive partner and we are all very excited at the potential of extending these brands into new sectors”
