Ubisoft ‘fully focused’ on Watch Dogs Wii U port

With Watch Dogs ready to launch on all other platforms, Ubisoft Romania says it’s now shifting its focus on the Wii U edition of the game.

Speaking with Red Bull, creative director Jonathan Morin said the team had been distracted by other tasks but revealed development of the Wii U port has now resumed.

We wanted to finish all the platforms that we are currently shipping. We needed those guys to get [the shipping versions] finished,” said Morin.

The good news now is that they’re all fully focused on the Wii U version, making sure it gets the attention it deserves to make it the best version it can be."

There’s still no word on when Watch Dogs will launch on Wii U other than that it will follow the PS3, Xbox One, PS3, 360 and PC versions, which launch on May 27th.
