UBISOFT: Next-gen ‘always on’ racing game The Crew lands in 2014

Ubisoft today announced a brand new racing game IP: The Crew.

Developed by Ivory Tower, it’s an online persistent racer that blurs the line between solo, co-op and competitive multiplayer.

It’s an epic racer that covers all of the USA as an open world.

Ivory Tower is a studio formed by former Eden Games staff, best known for their online racer Test Drive Unlimited – Eden shut down earlier in the year.

The game is in development for next-gen consoles and its out next year, and will also offer a companion app for iPad that allows players to customise their car.
