Ubisoft pledges pre-Christmas Haze release

Though its release date has been up in the air in recent weeks, French publisher Ubisoft has stated that upcoming PS3-exclusive Haze will arrive in Europe on Sony’s machine on December 14th – just in time for Christmas.

The late release date suggests that developer Free Radical is working to the last possible moment to make the anticipated shooter every bit the game the hype has suggested.

Though the game remains officially a PS3-exclusive for now, rumours persist that both Xbox 360 and PC versions are in the works and will be released next year.

Haze boasts some interesting game ideas, such as the populations’ dependence on a drug named Nectar, and also offers four player cooperative play.
