UK 3DS portal goes live

Nintendo’s UK website for the 3DS handheld has gone live.

For the time being, there’s nothing to see on the site other than a large graphic accompanied by the words "See it. 2011".

However, you can expect plenty more to be added following the official European launch announcement event that takes place on January 19th in Amsterdam.

The only concrete information we have about the Western launch is that it will be before the end of March and that 2.5m units are ready and will be shared between America and Europe.

Eight games have been confirmed for the Japanese launch.
