UPDATE: UK release date for Bayonetta 2 revealed

Nintendo has at last announced a UK release date for Wii U title Bayonetta 2.

The Platinum Games developed title will arrive in Europe on October 24th, the same day it arrives in the US.

Europe will also be getting a region-exclusive ‘Bayonetta 2 First Print Edition’ of the title that has leather-effect embossed 3D packaging and a book of angels. Remember there is also a Special Edition of the game that also contains the first game.

Speaking of which, both Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 will be released digitally on October 24th as well, with discounts offered for those who buy both.

Owing to Bayonetta’s new-found Nintendo exclusivity, the game will also offer some themed costumes – specifically Samus, Link, Fox McCloud and Princess Peach.

UPDATE: It looks as if the Limtied Edition is a GAME exclusive in the UK and will cost 59.99.
