Well this is going to go down a treat.
The demos for EA’s FIFA 14 and new UFC title on Xbox One have suddenly been given a price tag.
Both shorts will cost 3.99 to download ($4.99 in the US), with FIFA 14 at the very least having previously been free.
MCV has reached out to EA to try and clarify whether this is simply an error or represents a new strategy for the company.
UPDATE: An Australian EA rep has told Polygon that the pricing is an error.
UPDATE 2: EA has now confirmed the same directly with MCV, saying: "The price associated with the FIFA 14 and EA SPORTS UFC demos was due to a technical error. Both demos have now been fixed in the Microsoft store.”
