US: Star Wars invades PS Home

As is demonstrated by the premium price of the lightsaber prop on the Xbox Live Avatar marketplace, Star Wars has an unusual command over its followers’ wallets – so the arrival of Star Wars props and clothes on PlayStation Home is no surprise.

Thanks to an agreement with LucasArts, a host of Star Wars and Indiana Jones goodies are now available to purchase from the new dedicated shop front from within Sony’s virtual world.

Kotaku reports that the offer currently includes costumes, t-shirts and props (such as the iconic lightsaber) though furniture is promised in the near future.

Sadly, the LucasArts portal seems to be a US only affair for the time being, with no word on a possible European arrival.
