Video: EA unveils new Mass Effect: Andromeda trailer

New footage for sci-fi RPG Mass Effect: Andromeda was amongst EA’s announcements during its EA Play conference yesterday.

This new ‘developer diary’ trailer includes behind-the-scenes footage and some cut scenes.

Developer Bioware promised bigger revelations about the game later this year and added that the game will have ‘more freedom’ than any of the studio’s past titles. Furthermore, Andromeda is being built on DICE’s Frostbite engine, much like FIFA 17.

The title sees humanity travelling to a new galaxy that is ‘teeming with alien life’.

Mass Effect: Andromeda will launch during early 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. EA says we will see more of the game later this year.
