Sony has released the first ever gameplay footage of upcoming PS4 outing Bloodborne.
The game isn’t a sequel to either PS3 original Demon’s Souls or From’s multiplatform follow up Dark Souls, but clearly doesn’t stray too far from the successful formula.
There are differences, though. The setting is quite distinct, as is the introduction of guns, although From asserts that the game is in no way a shooter.
The studio has also revealed that it is straying from the traditional hide behind your shield until you get a moment to strike” mechanic and will instead introduce a system that rewards players for aggression, with a damage multiplier for attacking immediately after receiving damage.
