VIDEO: How does Wind Waker HD compare to the original?

A new video has offered a direct comparison between the 1080p visuals offered by The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD and the GameCube original.

Wind Waker HD is released in the UK for Wii U on October 4th. It was already a visually stunning game, so the jump to full HD is expected to do wonders.

The video below from Nintendo shows both versions running side by side. The resolution and draw-distance increases are clear to see and offer a significant advantage. Fans may react less positively to the changes in the lighting, however.
