VIDEO: Microsoft details the Xbox One Twitch experience

Twitch goes live on Xbox One tomorrow and Microsoft has released a video detailing exactly how it all works.

You can watch the video below, but here’s a quick outline:

1. Make sure you update your Xbox One firmware – this will happen automatically if you’re set up that way
2. Sign up to the Twitch website
3. Make sure your Xbox privacy settings are set up to allow sharing
4. Make sure you’re appearing online on Xbox Live
5. Now you’re good to go. To activate Twitch streaming simply say Xbox broadcast”
6. Upon booting Twitch will automatically access the appropriate stream quality for your broadcast although users can manually alter this should they wish
7. Users can then name their broadcast, set up Kinect picture-in-picture (including choosing in which corner PIP will appear, if any) and adjust microphone volume
8. Users can use Twitch snap to see viewer comments on-screen or go full screen with comments appearing on a second screen tablet device
9. Users will also be notified if friends start broadcasting and can instantly bring the stream up on-screen
