VIDEO: Resident Evil: Revelations 2 will be episodic, released over one month

Capcom has revealed that its next Resident Evil release will be episodic.

Resident Evil: Revelations 2 will be released in four chunks across one month in early 2015 on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, with each priced at $5.99 or all four available for $24.99.

The Complete Season will offer some additional content not included if you buy each episode individually, and a disc release will follow sometime after priced at $39.99 offering even more unspecified additional content.

Each of the four episodes will feature hours of terrifying gameplay ending with dramatic cliff-hangers that will leave players fully engrossed and anticipating the next twist in the gripping horror story,” Capcom said.

With the terrifying Afflicted enemies waiting around every dark corner, players will need to use their ammo and weapon supply wisely, in classic survival horror style.”

The game stars Claire Redfield, who now works for anti-bioterrorism organisation Terra Save.
