VIDEO: Sony’s E3 teaser offers a glimpse at the actual PS4

A teaser from Sony hyping its PS4 E3 event has offered what might be the very first glimpse of the new console. You can see it below.

The video, although obviously designed to promote the Press Conference on June 10 6pm PDT, arrives just 24 hours before rival firm Xbox is set to unveil its 360 successor.

Quick cut images show brief close ups of various parts of the device – but not the whole thing.

So far: it’s black, and it’s got vents and ports. More is expected on June 10th.
